• Eligibility assessment

  You must be a homeowner of at least 55 years of age and own a property worth a minimum value to qualify.

• Valuation and application

  We’ll arrange a property valuation and work with you to determines the maximum amount they can release based on the valuation, which includes your age and property value and then apply for the equity release mortgage from the lender.

• Legal process

  We’ll keep you in the loop and upon approval, work with you to engage a conveyancing solicitor to handle the legal aspects of the transaction, including reviewing the mortgage offer and ensuring all legal requirements are met.

• Funds released

  We’ll let you know once all legalities are completed, and the lender releases the funds to the you. This can usually be received as a lump sum or in instalments.

• Repayment

  The loan, plus accrued interest, is typically repaid in the event of your death or if you move into long-term care. The property is sold, and the proceeds are used to settle the debt. Any remaining equity belongs to your estate.
